I'm basically a 'bedroom' songwriter who has accumulated many ideas but did nothing with them until modern computer technology made it possible to produce professional sounding songs.

I get by on piano and guitar but by no means a consummate musician. Also I'm not a singer and relied upon Studio Pros in the past for professional vocal takes based on my (often embarrassing) scratch vocal demos. Now it's the use of, in my case, Suno AI to generate backing tracks & vocals. I still play the keyboard parts.

I did play with friends in a band called ShadesOf where the music was more prog rock orientated. Managed to play a few live gigs as the keyboard player.
